As you may or may not know, Bamboo usually grows 10 times faster than trees and thus it is an increasing popular choice for consumers. If you think you need to sacrifice the sleeking design and stunning look of your furniture if you choose Bamboo, you are wrong. As what i have seen, furniture made from bamboo looks fantastic. However, there are few sites currently dedicated to selling bamboo furniture, the following sites are worthing looking at if you considering bamboo furniture:
1: Bamboo Showroom (http://www.bambooshowroom.com)
From the domain itself, we can pretty much tell that it carries a wide selection of bamboo furniture including dining tables, chairs and rugs. The bad thing is that you cannot really get help from this site. We did not find information such as live chat and toll free number, which is a indication of the quality of customer service.
2: http://www.bamboohardwoods.com
This site has bamboo flooring and bamboo living room and home deco accessories. You can order directly from this site. Again, this site is not perfect as there are not much choices available. I tested the living room category and there are only a few items to choose from.
3: http://www.exbali.com/bali_furniture/bali-bamboo/bamboo_bedroom_furniture_I.htm
This site does not have a professional design and it is dedicated to the bamboo bedroom furniture such as Bamboo double bed and Bamboo four poster bed. The biggest problem with this site is that you can not add stuff to a shopping cart and to order directly online, you have to remember the product code. This is totally not user-friendly and i doubt if the owner if this site makes any money out of the site.
Turning your room to green doesn’t always cost you more than thousand dollars. You can be even half way there by spending less than a hundred bucks. Thinking of buying eco friendly bedroom and living room pieces is a good start, but even before that, you can just start by getting a eco friendly wallpaper. Why not!! I guess most people do not like toxic fumes and the smell of paints as it can be dangerous and is not good for our health.
Well, I am not a salesperson of Shop4Wallpaper.com, but i really liked their new eco friendly wallpaper - solara, it just looks stunning. There are a lot of people that starts with wallpaper for renovation and innovative designs. Yon can do that as well and you will be surprised on what you can achieve with this eco friendly wall paper.
Do you know the fact that flip flop can be eco-friendly as well and do you know that one of the ottomans you own at home can be made by flip flops? When it comes to being eco-friendliness, sky is the limit if you can be creative and thoughtful. You probably make think that things that are made from flip flops can be ugly and out of fashion. To be honest, this is what i thought as well before i see this ottoman.
It is so colorful and looks like it could have come off of Star Trek and is just stunning to look at. If you think this is cheap, then you are wrong again! Retail price for this ottoman comes to about $315.
Although the oil price has spiked to all time high in 2008, there are still a lot people who would to travel and the effort made on consuming less energy and saving the earth will never end. You may never consider choosing an eco-friendly hotel before in your life, but you may some day in the future.
